Google is developing “Pixel Screenshots” feature that can process and save helpful details from manually taken screenshots, allowing users to search through them. The feature will be part of Google AI and can summarize screenshots or answer questions about the information in them. Users will have control over enabling or disabling AI processing for their screenshots at any time.
The company is also planning a similar feature in Google Photos that uses AI to help users search through their photos. Additionally, new features under the Google AI umbrella include “Add Me” for adding people to group photos and a previously rumored Studio tool that can generate stickers and other images using AI.
These AI features will reportedly be part of the upcoming Pixel 9, which is expected to have a redesigned camera setup and come in three sizes.
