NCSC announces PwC’s Richard Horne as CEO

Richard Horne, chair of PwC UK’s cyber security practice, appointed as new CEO of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). He succeeds Lindy Cameron and will shape the UK’s national cyber security strategy, including:

• Building cyber resilience
• Ensuring security for emerging technologies like AI and quantum
• Managing critical cyber incidents

Horne brings extensive industry experience from PwC, Barclays, and advisory roles. Key priorities include driving cyber awareness in boardrooms and developing partnerships to address threats.
